If I had to describe Stylistic in a few words, rapping entrepreneur comes to mind. I’ve seen this guy evolve into the person you see today. He’s always been humble. In this particular song, you get a glimpse into the things that he’s been or is going through at the moment. That’s why the title of the record is “The Vent.” In my opinion, personal records are hits simply because it’s the artist stepping away from the EVERDAY norm to give us something real.
